AMSS-PolyU Joint Research Institute Workshop on Computational Mathematics，24th September 2008，The Hong Kong Polytechnic University In September 2008, Prof. Ian Sloan will take up a position of Chair Professor under the Distinguished Scholar Scheme in the Department of Applied Mathematics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. To welcome Prof. Sloan to the Mathematics community in China, a 1-day workshop on Computational Mathematics is organized by the AMSS-PolyU Joint Research Institute.
