A Ph.D. research assistant position in Department of Mathematics at University of Houston is available. The area of research is high order numerical methods for PDEs with applications to plasma physics, astrophysics, among many others. An ideal candidate would have some basic knowledge in numerical analysis, and have experience in programming such as Fortran, C, or Matlab.
